Procedure
Fireside Conversations wants grievances about the workplace or related company activity to be brought to the attention of supervisors and, if necessary, upper level management.
If you feel there is inappropriate conduct or activity on the part of the company, management, employees, vendors, customers, or any related persons or entities, bring the concern to the immediate attention of your supervisor. Approach the supervisor at a time and place that allows proper listening.
If you have discussed the matter previously and do not believe you received a sufficient response, present the concern to your supervisor in writing. Indicate the problem, the persons involved, and any suggested solution.
If you do not receive a sufficient response within five working days, or if your supervisor is the problem, contact the next level of supervision. If the matter is an emergency, legal, ethical, or safety issue, use your best judgement to expedite the complaint process.
The company may meet with you and your supervisor, or both parties individually. If the matter remains unresolved and you believe it still merits attention, immediately place your concerns in writing and bring the matter forward to upper level management.
The purpose of this grievance procedure is to help maintain a positive work environment with respect and responsibility toward each other and to avoid unnecessary employee claims and company legal exposure.
